With the theme

Achieving Global Mental Health Equity: Making Cultural Psychiatry Count,

this multi-disciplinary conference will bring together hundreds of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurses, and others in mental health, anthropology, and social scientists from around the world. At a time of increasing awareness about the unjust mental health disparities in developing and developed countries, researchers, practitioners, and advocates will come together to exchange experiences on how best to implement culture-focused interventions and policies to overcome health and healthcare disparities and promote global mental health equity in access, engagement, and quality of care for diverse populations.

Our organizing committee would like to ask your support in promoting this timely congress and the opportunity to submit presentation proposals. It would be terrific if you could assist us by sharing this announcement with your listserv and individuals who may be particularly motivated to participate in the congress as attendees or presenters.

Below and attached are the Call for Papers and links to the World Congress website, and the Abstract submission and registration pages. We would really appreciate if you could help us disseminate these materials throughout your networks.

Please note that the deadline for all abstract submissions is January 15, 2018.

We look forward to seeing you in New York City next year,

Prof. Roberto Lewis-Fernández
